It is 1954 in Hollywood, a city built on dreams and shadows. A small group of passionate people are working on a project that will change their lives: for better or for worse. B movie follows a classic three act structure. On Thursday night the larp begins with Act 1 “Lights, Cameras, Action!”, there is optimism and excitement as the filming begins. There is a night shoot and some work to do, but the characters are getting to know one another.

Act 2 “Rock Bottom” begins on Saturday morning and runs through until the following day. In this act everything that can go wrong, should go wrong. It is a time for breakdowns and scandal. Characters explore their own truths, and battle their inner demons, we ask you to steer towards despair and failure. Tempers flare, tears are shed, harsh truths revealed, and hearts are broken. When the second act finishes – at close of play on Saturday night, everything looks bleak.

This sets us up for Saturday morning when Act 3 “We’ll Fix it in post” begins. In this final act we’d like you to play towards redemption, forgiveness, and that most elusive of things in a larp – the happy ending!
