Lights, Cameras, Action!
Act 1 starts on Thursday night with optimism and excitement as the filming begins. There is a night shoot and work to do! The characters are also getting to know one another; some are meeting for the first time, others have worked together for a while.
There is no scheduled play in the B World on Thursday evening, but some groups may choose to start to explore their other characters at this time.
Rock Bottom
Act 2 begins on morning and runs through until the following day. In this act everything that can go wrong, should go wrong. It is a time for breakdowns and scandal. Characters explore their own truths, and battle their inner demons, we ask you to steer towards despair and failure. Tempers flare, tears are shed, harsh truths revealed, and hearts are broken. When the second act finishes – at close of play on Saturday night, everything looks bleak.
We’ll Fix it in post
The bleakness sets us up for Saturday morning when Act 3 begins. In this final act we’d like you to play towards redemption, forgiveness, and that most elusive of things in a larp – the happy ending! When the movie wraps we’d like the characters to have come together to form a family – Hollywood Magic.
