There are two fictional worlds in B movie. You play both worlds and both characters as if they were real because — as long as the dream is alive — they might as well be.
The first world is the Storyworld. This is Hollywood in 1954 where you will be playing film makers, actors, writers, and studio people all engaged in making the movie, Invasion of the Atomic Space Witches.
The second world is the B world. B movie isn’t just a story about moviemakers. Each time the cameras roll, you inhabit your B world character. You become the hero — or the villain — that the writers of this Hollywood 1950s B movie have imagined. You might save the world, find love across the diner, or discover what lies beyond the stars. What is more, even when you are not shooting a scene you can choose to play out the story of your B World character and to explore their life.
